Feeding support that’s calm, compassionate, and clinically informed.

Led by Accredited Practising Dietitian Kate Annat, Cubs offers
expert feeding support that’s  calm, compassionate, and tailored to your child.

A service shaped by experience, compassion, and a commitment to families.

At Cubs Paediatric Dietetics, we're here to help families navigate feeding challenges with empathy, expertise, and unwavering support.

Founded by Accredited Practising Dietitian Kate Annat, Cubs was born from a desire to offer families more than the rushed, impersonal care so often experienced in hospital settings. With years of experience in neonatal and paediatric intensive care units across Australia and the UK, Kate saw first-hand how complex feeding issues could impact a child's health, growth, and confidence - and how much families needed time, answers, and reassurance.

Cubs is all about solving feeding problems at their root. Whether it's allergies, gut concerns, fussy eating, or tube feeding, we look beyond symptoms to understand the whole picture - creating practical, personalised solutions that support your child's unique feeding journey.

Cubs is proudly based in Brisbane and offers both in person and telehealth appointments to families across Australia.

Let’s work together to bring calm and confidence back to your mealtimes.

We believe feeding care should be thoughtful, personal, and grounded in trust.

At Cubs, we don’t offer quick fixes or one-size-fits-all advice. We take the time to understand your child’s story, guide you with clinical expertise, and create feeding plans that truly work—for your child, and for your family.

We lead with empathy.

No concern is too small. We take the time to listen to your story and meet your family with kindness, not judgement.

We bring deep expertise.

With years of experience in tertiary paediatric hospitals, we offer evidence-based care that parents can trust.

We never rush the process.

Feeding challenges are rarely fixed overnight. We look at the whole picture and work with you, step by step, at your child’s pace.

We plan for real families.

You won’t leave with a generic handout. We create realistic, achievable plans that respect your time, capacity, and routine.

We focus on long-term change.

Our goal isn’t just symptom relief—it’s progress that lasts. We want your child to thrive, and your family to feel confident at mealtimes again.

Kind words from Cubs families

"We all felt yesterday we were being listened to and our issues were taken seriously as it was our son who was asked for his opinion and feelings. Ethan seemed much more open to your ideas and last night he tried cheese and cucumber which he never did before."

– Ethan’s Mum
